Company History

Excellence In Precision Sheet Metal & Assemblies since 1984

In 1999 ErgoMet, Inc. acquired Chapman Precision Fab., a small Sheet Metal Shop with 4 employees that had been in business since 1984. The team that emerged from this acquisition combined a unique strength of many years of experience in management, sales and service, as well as in the design, layout, production and assembly of all types of sheet metal parts and assemblies. In 2002, because of continued growth, we invested in new equipment, increased our labor force and moved our company to our own 32,000 sq. ft. facility. “The Home of ErgoMet, Inc.” is conveniently located in historic Haverhill, MA only minutes from major highways — routes 495/93/95.
